JSC «Vitebsk carpets» is an enterprise of the mixed pattern of ownership without foreign participation. A prevailing share of the authorized capital (51,1%) is at the state ownership. JSC «Vitebsk carpets» is a part of the Belarus state concern of light industry.

Due to the increasing of consumer demand and volume of  production another high-speed tufting machine «Sprint» class 1/10 of firm «Cobble», UK,  was purchased and put into operation.

In January  of 2014 JSC "Vitebsk carpets" was commissioned a new high-performance carpet weaving machine of new generation «SRi02» of firm «VAN DE WIELE» ( Belgium), intended for the production of carpets with long pile. This equipment started to produce modern and competitive range of carpets called «SUPERSHAGGY» with pile height of 70 mm from polypropylene filaments "frieze".
In February of 2014 was commissioned the final finish line of the Belgian firm «Evilo NV» with a width of 3 m, purchased with the purpose to improve the technology of final finishing of  tufted carpets, to increase  footage of rolls, to reduce the complexity of products.
